Don’t let the rain fool you, summer is fast approaching and now is a good time to prepare for another wonderful season of sunshine and complain about the heat. For this occasion, we decided to put together a little something to help you battle the upcoming heat waves and the sad reality of no aircon (if you’re working from home that is). Officially our summer this year begins on Wednesday 21st of June and ends on the 31st of August. For many, summer is a feel-good season, it’s the time to go on those holidays abroad you pre-booked at the start of the year or head down to Cornwall for a nice staycation by the sea, enjoy a BBQ with friends, lounge in the garden and absorb the very rarely seen sun we have in the UK.
As much as we all love summer, it’s important to stay protected, hydrated, and comfortable. So here are a few things that might help:
Staying Hydrated
As always, on top of our list is staying hydrated. Personally, I always like to keep my reusable bottle with me, when it’s at hand, it makes it much easier to remember to drink. And believe me when I say we have plenty of options. This particular bottle makes a great solution as it’s made from sugar cane waste (making it sustainable) and already comes pre-filled with English spring water, which also makes it a great item for any events you might have coming up. Plus, since the bottles are BPA-free and easy to clean when you’re finished you can refill your bottle with tap water and use it again and again.
